I’ve enjoyed 20 years in the finance industry, initially in banking. I quickly decided that branch life was not for me, so I pursued a career in lending. Prior to that I worked in hospitality, so have always enjoyed service over sales.

When I worked in the corporate world as a lender, I was never 100% happy working for just one brand, and so moved into mortgage broking where I really appreciated the knowledge and experience that I had gained, and wanted to share that knowledge with my colleagues and clients.

As a broker I love having access to so much variety, and I can always find solutions for my clients. Sometimes it takes serious effort and consideration, but I enjoy the challenge and love finding answers to unique situations.

In working with clients, I spend time learning about them, really getting to know them and understand their goals, so I can find the best and most appropriate solution.

If I can share a tip with clients, it’s to become obsessed with knowing where your money goes, and then to set your goals and work towards them step-by-step.

In my spare time I love relaxing with family and friends, chatting and catching up, and watching my grandkids grow and flourish…they are the future, after all.
