This year at SW Brokerage, our focus has been on helping clients navigate some scary unknown times. Since May of 2022, Australian borrowers have gone through 13 rate rises by the RBA and high inflation. For the average borrower with a $500,000 mortgage, the cash rate rises have meant an additional $1210 since rate rises began in May last year.
With this in mind, SW Brokerage has focused on the basics, helping over 400 clients free up their cash flow, consolidate their debt, negotiate better rates, and refinance their loans.
We’ve added several lenders to our panel and now have over 60 lenders to choose from, allowing us to offer our clients options best suited to their circumstances.

Refinancing and reviewing client loans was one of our biggest focuses this year:
Over the past 12 months, we took the time to review our client’s loans and speak to their existing bank about reviewing their home loan rate before refinancing. By doing this, we saved our clients a collective $525,000 in interest alone. That’s the SWB way! As we say, we’re good with numbers but we’re better with people.

Given the growth of SW Brokerage over the past 2 years we’ve started to also focus more attention on supporting our clients with commercial and business loans to help them take their business to the next level.
We saw an increase in SMSF commercial purchases and small commercial and business loans. We helped to fund pharmacy and dentistry fit-outs, business purchases, equipment finance for trucks and cranes, paying out ATO debts, and more.
